- Blessed Sacrament Church History
-
Blessed Sacrament Church is now accepting orders for PARISH ON THE RIDGE, a magnificent historical story of Blessed Sacrament Parish written by Sr. Henrietta Hockle, OSB. This is a story of a people on a pilgrimage and the leaders who inspired them over 120 years from 1885 to 2005.
It is an overview of their vision, education and spiritual growth; of brick and mortar; of joys and vicissitudes; successes and setbacks; of generations of individuals and organizations working in community to manifest the Church locally. PARISH ON THE RIDGE will make an inspiring gift! Order forms can be obtained by contacting the Parish Office.
- Vision / Mission Statement:
- Blessed Sacrament will:
- Mission Statement:
We, the faith community of Blessed Sacrament Parish in unity
with the surrounding communities in our mission of service to Jesus Christ, are
entrusted and empowered by the Holy Spirit to spread the Good News of Jesus
Christ through loving service to others.
We strive to be a community that keeps its faith by sharing it with
others, especially those of our faith community.
Our faith is nurtured and strengthened through the sharing of the
divine body of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament and through faithfully
modeling of his life to others. Following the instruction of St. Paul in 1 Timothy 6:11,
"We the servants of God seek integrity, piety, faith, love, steadfastness and a
gentle spirit."
